All IT support issues are recorded online in our Online Helpdesk which allows us to monitor and report on your current usage. It also allows us to record our response times, time to resolution and also identify any patterns such as repeated problems with one or more pieces of equipment.

Moving all or some IT tasks to a managed service allows companies to focus on their core business instead of day-to- day IT management. This is especially important for SMBs, since they are frequently stretched thin from a personnel and budget standpoint.

Depending upon your choice of the contract we also offer clients remote monitoring for both servers and workstations.  This allows us to monitor system health such as running processes, available resources, disk space etc.  We can also set up email alerts for pre-configured triggers such as when a processor is running above an expectant threshold.

All our contracted customers have hosted remote support installed on their machines.  This not only allows us quick access on-demand but also allows us to carry out maintenance, updates etc out of hours and thus ensuring downtime is kept to a bare minimum.

Where possible and subject to availability we schedule larger jobs out of hours.  This allows us to complete our work uninterrupted whilst also allowing extra time for post-install testing which is a great way of ensuring that updates etc don’t impact the end-users.

Re-Active Support

As mentioned in our Pro-Active IT Support page we always strive to work on ‘prevention is better than cure’.

However this isn’t always possible, especially for new clients or for ones we have recently adopted. It’s because of this that we strive to make our business IT support services both easy and accessible.

By utilising industry leading software such as Teamviewer, Kayako and LogMeIn we can offer enterprise quality support systems and remote support.

Teamviewer for example allows us to securely remote into any desktop, laptop or server which has internet access, both for existing and first time clients. And it doesn’t matter if we are away from our desk at the time as we can utilise this on mobiles, tablets and laptops as well.

We have recently signed up to Kayako as our Helpdesk software provider. It offers a feature rich backend for our self management but also a simple, clean and easy to use portal for clients to use. Kayako also provides our Live Chat facility which allows our technicians to promptly respond to all incoming enquiries.
